Advanced Higher Mathematics Curriculum

Advanced Higher Mathematics Curriculum

 

In Advanced Higher, students have Mathematics for 5 periods a week with a teacher and 1 study period. Where possible, this study period will be within a Maths classroom.  

Advanced Higher Maths is assessed by sitting an end of year exam. This consists of a 1 hour non-calculator Paper 1 and 2 hours 30 minutes calculator Paper 2. Advanced Higher learners will complete unit and formal assessments throughout the year to prepare for the final exam.
