Parents Nights & Reports

In this session our parent/carer evenings will be conducted by telephone or through email. 

Telephone Parent/Carer Evenings 

We will notify you ahead of the bookings opening for each year group.

When prompted, make your appointments at: 

To login you will need to enter:

  • Your first name and surname
  • Your child’s first name, surname and date of birth
  • The contact phone number for the evening

The login details you enter must match those we have on record for you.

After you have made your appointments you can choose to print or e-mail a confirmation. In session 2020/21 only the main contact parent/carer will be able to make appointments. Where parent/carers live separately we can provide an update through our Pupil Support Leaders. 

On the day of your appointments, the teachers will call you on the number you have provided. Please do not call the school on the evening. Should you miss a call or an appointment we will not be able to rearrange this on the evening. Each slot will be strictly 5mins, with no back-to-back bookings. We encourage you to consider what you wish to discuss in advance. The appointment schedule must run strictly to time. 

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you cannot login to book  please contact the school office on 0131 339 6823
  • The email address field entered is only used to send your appointment confirmation. If you have problems logging in, it will not be because of the e-mail address you entered.

Parents Information (Events)

Presentations can be found in the ‘Publications for parents’ page of this website for session 2020/21. No in-school meetings will take place. Our Pupils Support Leaders can be contacted for further information


In S1-3 students will receive 2 reports per year. In S4-6 students will receive 2 full reports on their progress and a final tracking report. Full reports will highlight 2 areas of strength and 2 areas in which students can develop, as well as a comment on their application. They will also give numerical scores for effort, behaviour and working grade/level (where appropriate). 

Students will create their own target grade which will be noted in the report.

The tracking report in March for S4-6, has working grade, working level, effort, homework (relates to remote learning).
