I hope you are well. I also want to flag up the Wellbeing Wednesday updates sent to all parents and carers yesterday. As you can see, your feedback is being used to help us refine the online learning. Please continue to ask your young people to contact the House team if any support is needed, and to use the admin email to contact us with any parent or carer feedback or questions. I also hope you enjoyed the wellbeing film as much as the staff did when making it.
As well as finalising the process for submitting estimates this week, we have also been considering various models for a school opening in August so that we are ready to respond promptly when the working groups in City of Edinburgh share the planning framework for all schools. Of course, this will also be in line with any government guidelines as well. I will update you as soon as I am in a position to do this.
I also want to take this opportunity to offer my congratulations and a massive thank you to Ms Hannah, who will end her seven years at Craigmount tomorrow before moving on to her new permanent promoted post as a Pupil Support Leader in another school. Our loss will be their gain. Ms Hannah has made a massive and varied contribution to Craigmount both in her current post as Acting Pupil Support leader, and as a music teacher, and Acting Curriculum Leader in Performing Arts. Her attention to detail, and pupil-centred approach ensured first rate music concerts, and the fantastic Italian Trip a few years back. I am sure you will join me in wishing her well. Ms Savage will now resume full time Pupil Support Leader duties for the month of June. Students will be mad aware of this through their House team.
