I hope you all had a safe and relaxing weekend with some walks in the sunshine.
Thank you to those of you who have responded to the Digital Access survey Mrs Coull (DHT) put out. There has been a very high return but if you have not yet had a chance to complete this can you do this as soon as possible please? We need to collate the findings and share these with the centre on Friday. This will assist with on-going planning of ICT provision across the city linked to equity.
Thanks also to those of you who have responded to the questionnaire on online learning put out last week on the Remote Learning page, and through the House Teams. This was designed to ensure students were able to access online learning. We have been responding this morning to any questions that have come in via the questionnaire. Please use this questionnaire link to get in touch if you need advice or support. Mr Pye (DHT) will now be using any returned feedback to create a Frequently Asked Questions guideline on using SharePoint and Teams. Our Pupil Support Leaders are also supporting students with individual questions.
On Wednesday afternoon we plan once again to put out a more detailed weekly briefing with information from each of the Depute Head Teachers offering updates and guidance. This will include Wellbeing Wednesday tips.
This week the staff will continue to work in their teams to develop the SQA estimates using the latest detailed SQA guidance. There is a clear timeline for this work which was discussed last week as a main item in an online meeting of all the faculty leaders.
This week we are also planning with primary colleagues the staff rota for the children of Key Workers at the St Augustine’s HUB. We will be part of the core team there next week. I am very grateful for the staff support offered with this essential service.
