Social Subjects
The Social Subjects Faculty incorporates the discrete subjects of Modern Studies, History and Geography.
In the faculty we value all of our students equally and aim to provide them with a range of individualised education programmes which are designed to meet their needs and prepare them for the next stage of their journey when they leave the school.
As a faculty we offer a full range of national qualifications as well as work based learning through the ZEST programme.
We believe in challenging all our students to achieve their full potential. We are also committed to developing the qualities and values in our students, which ensure they develop as responsible citizens.
In the faculty we offer a wide range of extra curricular opportunities’. These include participation in the holocaust education programme, trenches trip, London trip, residential weekends, zoo and farm visits, faculty of advocates mock mini-trials as well as the opportunity to participate in competitions and public speaking. We also offer revision and supported study sessions for senior students throughout the year.
