As part of the centenary of the beginning of the First World War, students from Craigmount took part in commemorations at the Corstorphine War Memorial. Two of our sixth year students, Matthew Max Lino and Joanna McCloskey, attended the Remembrance Sunday service at the memorial and laid a wreath on behalf of the students and staff. On the 11th November forty S4/5/6 students planted crosses with the names of local men who lost their lives in World War One, World War Two and more recent conflicts. The crosses will remain at the Corstorphine War Memorial until Christmas.
