WOW19 Pupil Briefing

All S1-3 Pupils will be briefed on the arrangements for their trips on Thursday 2nd May, period 1. Pupils should attend a meeting with the Group leader (as shared by tutor teacher) as follows:

Tuesday Courses:             0840 – 0900

Wednesday Courses:      0900 – 0915

Thursday Courses:           0915 – 0930

Big Trips:                              Whole period

All pupils are expected to attend.

Summer Athletics Club:  Start TODAY after school – everyone is welcome to come along and get involved, just come down to PE at the end of the day and bring your kit!

Debating  – Mr McPake 

The Craigmount Debating Competition will take place on Friday the 24th of May. 

In preparation for this competition, there will be debating training aimed at S1-S3 for each of the next three Fridays. There will be no debating on Mondays and Tuesdays due to clashes with Bank Holidays and Week of Wellbeing events. 

Debating will continue to take place every Thursday in the library at lunchtime. The motion for this week will be: This House prefers a world without nuclear weapons

S1 – S3 WOW – Gravity

Could all students going to Gravity Trampoline Park (previously Jump Station) as part of WOW please ensure they return their KIC form to their tutor, and Safety Agreement to Miss Henderson in Social Subjects by Friday 3rd May. If these forms are not returned, unfortunately you cannot take part. (Tutors – if students want to give both forms to you, please put the Safety Agreement in my tray).

WOW London 2019

There will be an information evening for the London Trip for parents/carers and pupils on Tuesday 7th May at 6pm.

Information for the trip will be given to pupils before this time if any parents/ carers cannot make the meeting.

A meeting for pupils to discuss rooming and food options will be arranged soon.

After school sport

Due to the SQA exams there will be no badminton, basketball, netball or hockey sessions taking place until further notice.  Please keep an eye on the bulletin and PE noticeboards for details of when activities will restart.
