Edinburgh Schools Swimming Championships:  This event takes place at Ainslie Park in November.  Could any swimmers who wish to take part please come and see Mr Russell in the PE Base during morning break on Friday to register.

S6 Paired reader training will take place in the staffroom p4 on the 24thSeptember. All paired readers are expected to attend. Please see Mr. Higgins if you are unable to.

S3s, you have until Friday to register your interest! If you want to find out more, just look at www.dofe.org or ask. The draw for the new group of 20 participants (who are committed to coming along after school on Wednesdays for about an hour) is going to be on TODAY at break time in room 1/43!!

Cyber Centurion

Are you aged 12-18, enjoy puzzles, code breaking, interested in cybersecurity and enjoy a challenge?

 

If so, then the free online Cyber Centurion competition could be just the thing for you.

The famous American defence company, Northrop Grumman, has developed this competition (with sponsorship from the UK Government, BT, Santander and other major organisations) and they are looking for teams of up to five players to take part in their national heats (which will be mostly online).

If you are interested and/or would like to know more, please attend a short briefing session in room 229 (Mr Campbell) on TODAY at 1.30 pm.
