We are looking forward to welcoming our seniors back next week. I hope that the SQA exams have gone well and that our students are looking forward to the challenges the next year will bring.

The plan for the induction days are as follows:

Tuesday 5th June

S6 Induction 9 – 12 pm

S6 will attend timetabled classes from P5 onwards

Wednesday 6th June

S5 Induction 9 – 12 pm

S5 will attend timetabled classes from P5 onwards

Pupils should meet in the concourse each day where they will be given more information about the plan for the morning. There will be an opportunity during the morning to address any coursing requests and plan for the year ahead.

Edinburgh College Induction

Pupils who have applied to college as part of the School College Partnership programme should have received confirmation of their place directly from the college.

There will be an induction event on the afternoon of Tuesday 5th June for the following courses:

Foundation Apprenticeship in Creative & Digital Media

Higher & NPA Level 5 Photography

Studio Recording

Skills for Work Construction Craft

Electrical Skills

Foundation Apprenticeship in Scientific Technologies

Play and Child Development

Higher Psychology

Foundation Apprenticeship in Food and Drink Technologies

Skills for Work – Travel & Tourism

Skills for Work – National 5 Retail

Students in S5 and S6 who have been successful in securing a place in these courses should report to the school office at 1 pm on Tuesday. Taxis have been arranged to transport pupils to each of the college campuses. Students are required to make their own way back from each campus. Bus tokens can be provided on request from the school office. If you need any further information regarding this, please contact your son/daughter’s guidance teacher.
