Support your son/daughter and help all Craigmount students at the same time.

The application system is changing and will be more straightforward from next session, as parents will no longer have to reapply for the Free School Meals and Clothing Grant each year.  It will be assumed that unless your circumstances have changed, your entitlement will continue.

So, please apply if you think you might be eligible.

As you may know, a part of our school funding is based on the number of students claiming Free School Meals.  Therefore, all students benefit from families claiming their Free School Meal entitlement.

Craigmount High School are very keen to ensure that this occurs, and therefore ask parents to consider applying for Free School Meals for their children.

For help, or more information, please contact Marie Allan, through the school office, on 339-6823.

We understand that sometimes students might not want to eat lunch in the school canteen.  Nevertheless, for the reasons given above, it is important that their Free School Meal entitlement is claimed.  Moreover, the lunch credit can also be used for purchases for morning breakfast and morning break.

If your application is successful, it’s a Win! Win! as the school will benefit from additional funding which will be used to support students.

Some parents may have received reminders to reapply for the coming year.  Please apply as soon as possible in order that your entitlement will start at the beginning of term.
