I hope you are well.
Once again today, the main focus of the senior team has been on developing the planning to receive primary pupils from five primary schools tomorrow, not all from our cluster. Craigmount will now be the base which supports these children of eligible key workers. The first hosting of the schools will take place tomorrow. A team of Craigmount volunteer staff will welcome and guide them around our school tomorrow and will also be supporting those Craigmount students with key worker parents. Mrs Coull (DHT) led the team today and tomorrow Mr Pye (DHT) will be leading in the school tomorrow.
We have also been using our knowledge of our school community to contact potentially vulnerable families at risk of food poverty. This is to assist the council in delivering food parcels. Pease email the admin box if this is a concern for you and you think you might be eligible for support and we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss this and pass on your details to the council team managing the delivery of food parcels.
The online learning continues to develop. The House teams have reported that some S1s are feeling there is too much to get through and have asked me to share this with staff. I have done this. Please tell them not to worry, just to do their best and complete what they can as we settle in to this new way of working!
Best wishes, take care
