Students who receive free school meals

are helping the school!

So, please apply if you think you might be eligible.

As you may know, a part of our school funding is based on the number of students claiming Free School Meals.  Therefore, all students benefit from families claiming their Free School Meal entitlement.

Craigmount High School are very keen to ensure that this follows, and plan to approach a sample of parents, as a pilot, who will be asked to consider applying for Free School Meals for their children.

For help, or more information, please contact Marie Allan, through the school office, on 339-6823.

We understand that sometimes senior students might not want to eat lunch in the school canteen.  Nevertheless, for the reasons given above, it is important that their Free School Meal entitlement is claimed.  Moreover, the lunch credit can also be used for purchases for morning breakfast and morning break.

If your application is successful, it’s a Win! Win! as the school will benefit from additional funding which will be used to support students.
