Dress Down Day
This Friday, 9 February there will be a Dress Down Day. The theme is yellow – as a symbol for bone cancer. If you could spare £1 donation that would be much appreciated. All profits will be split between Teenage Cancer Trust and itsgood2give. Remember to wear something yellow!!!
Scottish Teenage Book Prize
If you would like to cast your vote, please speak to Miss Swann in the library at any time up to the 4.15pm on Thursday 8 Feb.
Library closed Friday am except for booked classes, and ‘Silent Reading’ at break time.
Please return any library books that were borrowed before the Christmas holidays by the end of the week. There are still over 350 books outstanding, which has a significant impact on other students. You can hand them in to the library desk, or leave them in the box outside the door.
Are you interested in travel, conservation, science, challenging yourself on an expedition? If so, please come along to 1/52 at break on Thu 08/02 to find out more about this fantastic opportunity to go and do some field research. Some students who were in Honduras are going to come along and are happy to chat with anyone who may wish to find out more! There will also be a hand out with a bit more information and the next steps. I look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks, Miss Grocott
