WOW 2018 : Eigg Adventure

Please pay the 2nd instalment of £100 for the above trip by 31st January 2018. The total price for this trip is £350. The 3rd and final instalment of £150 will be due for the end of March 2018. If there are any issues regarding paying this instalment, please come and see me asap. Mr Cheyne

 

Teen Titles

Copies of the most recent issue of Teen Titles have now arrived in the library. Congratulations to all the students who have made their reviews and interviews published. For everyone who is currently reviewing a book – a reminder that the deadline is Thursday January 25th.

S4-6 PARENTS NIGHT STANDS & SENIOR VOLUNTEERS

If any of the student enterprise/charity groups would like a place at the upcoming S3 parents night please see Mr Pye. Students are reminded that this is optional and prelim preparation should be prioritised. I am also looking for volunteers/ambassadors to support staff on the evening (or part of the evening), once again see Mr Pye if you are able to help. The event is on Wednesday 24th January 1700-1930.

 

Week of Wellbeing 2018

WOW18 student activity choice form now available via school website. Deadline for completion is Friday 26th January. If you have any problems please speak to Mr.Enwood

 

FITNESS SUITE

The fitness suite will reopen for students TODAY (23rd) from 3.30-4.30.

 

S1/2 Music Club
If you are keen to practise your skills on various instruments and try to form a band come to Music Room 2 Thursday lunchtime with Miss MacLeod – you can bring your lunch with you. See you there!

orchestra will start back on Wednesdays after school beginning 24th jan. Choir will begin on Tuesday 23rd January.

 

iDEA – Digital Enterprise Award

iDEA is a programme that helps you develop digital and enterprise skills for free. Through a series of online challenges and events, you can win career-enhancing badges, unlock new opportunities and, ultimately, gain industry recognised awards that help you stand out from the crowd.

We will be focussing on the Digital Citizenship Award skills to tie in with our S1 topic, but students from other year groups are welcome.
