Debating – Mr McPake

Training will take place on Friday, after school, in Mr McPake’s room. This session will be aimed at preparing S1-S3 debaters for Saturday’s competition.

Attention of (potential) Christmas 2018 leavers.

Cheynes hairdressers are looking for 6 young people across Edinburgh to take up an extended work experience programme. You would spend time in the training academy and on work experience in a salon.

It starts in June and you take the school summer holiday and then return there in August.

The aim of the programme is to prepare young people for a successful career in hairdressing, ideally with Cheynes.

Please see your guidance teacher if you are keen to apply.

Netballers

Just a reminder that, as the traditional Netball season is now finished, there will be no Netball this term. Hope you managed to catch some of the Netball matches from the Commonwealth Games, particularly the fantastic final match where England won their first ever Gold medal at the Games. Perhaps one day you could be playing internationally!
