Book Week Scotland is a week-long celebration of books and reading that takes place every November. The theme this year is ‘Nourish’. Check posters for more information about all the events, including:

Regional Equalities Group
Following on from Anti Bullying week we hope to continue to celebrate diversity at Craigmount by planning events for LGBT History Month in February. Would you like to be involved in taking forward these plans?
The most recent Edinburgh Equalities alliance was attended by 9 school and 29 pupils. The next is on Friday 8th December after school and will be a great opportunity to get ideas and share experience.

The following pupils are participating in a Football Memories Project this week with Football Historian Tom Wright.

Lake Garda Italy Music trip in 2018
Can all those attending the Lake Garda Italy Music trip in 2018 please attend a short meeting at breaktime on Monday 4th December in Miss Hannah’s room.
Christmas Concert Tickets
Christmas Concert Tickets will be on sale on Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th November and Friday 1st December breaktime at the servery in the concourse. Priced £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. There will initially be 2 tickets allocated per pupil (3 for S6 pupils) and then there may be further on offer next week. Thanks, Miss Hannah
Barnado’s East Craigs are looking for helpers/volunteers so if anyone is interested speak to a member of staff at the store. Also, they are looking for volunteers in other stores as well. This may be useful for your Duke of Edinburgh Award, Saltire Award, job experience etc
VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED – S3-S6
Barnardo’s Bughtlin Market, East Craigs store are looking for volunteers. Barnardo’s provide support to children, young people and their families in Scotland. Thhis great opportunity may be of interest to pupils doing Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or Saltire Awards or Employability. Volunteers need to be 14 years old with written parental permission. Please see Mr Cheyne if you are interested.
French Ski School
Can all students attending French Ski School please collect a letter from Mr Gray in the PE department ASAP.
